K-9 FRIENDS
K-9 FRIENDS is a group of volunteers that understand the health (both mental and physical) benefits that spending time with a dog can provide, and donate their time to share those benefits with others. Dogs can lower blood pressure, help people live longer, promote social interaction and generally brighten a person's day. Dogs enjoy all the attention and seem to know they are helping. Handlers get a great deal of satisfaction doing community service for those who need it most and the opportunity to contribute to others while spending time with their dogs.
All of our dogs are very gentle and are tested for appropriate temperament by K-9 FRIENDS and/or an international organization. All dogs are obedience trained, and many are trained in one or more areas such as agility, herding, hunting, conformation, acting and canine assisted water rescue. You do not need a great deal of training to get started, but most who start working with their canine partners get hooked and want to do more and more.

Requirements and Membership fees of K-9 Friends are as Following: Due to reorganization of the club all contents of this web page(s)are subject to change.
